"Ancient Astronauts" glass petroglyph art

4.5" x 6" fused glass display tile, combining a petroglyph on a cave wall in Valcamonica, Italy, and another cave drawing of what appears to be a spaceship, from another cave. I thought they looked good together, so I combined them on this piece.
The crackle glass part is made first, using multiple layers of powder glass frit, with a clear backing piece, so it's transparent when held up to the light. I then reproduced images of cave drawings and petroglyphs and burned them onto a silkscreen, and then screened the images onto the top layer of glass, by pressing fine glass powder through the screen, then fire them again in the kiln at a low tack-fuse temperature.
Signed and dated on the back.
I use all Bullseye 90COE soft glass.
